Dabra Village is around 10 km from Hisar. It is a small village on the the Hasir-Tosham road. This sleepy village came into limelight after a group of boys gang-raped a 16-year old Dalit girl in the village. It is a typical Haryana village where elderly men smoke hookah and play cards, while men and women take care of cattle and household works.

Dabra village is a contrast to other developed towns of Haryana. It is a village that can well be termed as a village left in the past. The government must answer for its neglect and poor upkeep.
