Rohtak the Heart of Haryana is poised to turn into another industrial hub of haryana. In fact it is part of the NCR and is the only constituency in the country that has the IIT, IIM and AIIMS in it. Rohtak is emerging as a city to reckon with as far as education is concerned as the Indian Institute of Management is being established here along with extension of IIT Delhi and the health university to be upgraded as AIIMS.
Amid the rosy scenario what has raised eyebrows, as the buzz is that this city has got more attention than other cities in Haryana. The lopsided development is one thing that plagues Haryana. We have other cases as well where we have found that some districts have innumerable issues while some have excelled in almost every sector and earned fame for the state.
The media reports specify that as many as nine districts in Haryana have not witnessed any development. A state cannot prosper if selective development is there. If we get into specifics then out of the total assigned 5135 allotments, Rohtak, Sonipat and Jhajjar received 2045 allotments as they are within the purview of the constituencies of the CM Bhupinder Hooda and his son Deepender Hooda.
While it is a heartening fact that Rohtak is reaching new heights but at the same time these reports do not augur well for the state. What is needed in the state is that development will be there in every sector and there would be something to speak of for each district and not only some districts. That will be Naya Haryana.
