Kanwari village is around 25 kms from Hisar on the Hisar-Tosham road. It is an ancient village - one of the few existing villages from the time of the Indus Valley Civilization and dates back to 2500-4000 years. The Bua Kanwari Temple is located on the outskirt of the village, and newlyweds seek blessings here before entering the village. Entering the village is like entering an old world. Time stops still here. So little has changed here in spite of all the modernisation and development of this age.
